USDA Certified Biobased Mandatory Purchasing

The USDA Biobased Product Program, established under the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 and expanded by the Agricultural Act of 2014, requires federal agencies and their contractors to give purchasing preference to USDA-certified biobased products when they are available, meet performance requirements, and are competitively priced.
