Building the Future of Sustainable Paper

Hemp Paper Company was founded to prove that the world’s paper packaging doesn’t need to come from trees. Our ZERO TREE™ products deliver superior performance while protecting forests and reducing carbon emissions.

What We Stand For

Zero Deforestation

Every product we make is 100% tree-free. We believe paper packaging should never require cutting down forests.

American Made

Our products are manufactured in the USA with domestic and international hemp fiber supply chains we’ve built from the ground up.

Science-Backed Quality

USDA Certified Biobased at 100% biobased content. Our paper is independently tested to be 2× stronger than conventional tree paper.

The Problem We’re Solving

The global paper industry consumes over 4 billion trees annually. Traditional paper production is one of the largest contributors to deforestation, water pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions.

Hemp offers a dramatically better alternative: it grows in 120 days, produces 4× more fiber per acre, requires no pesticides, and creates paper that’s naturally stronger. Hemp Paper Company exists to make this alternative accessible at commercial scale.

Benjamin Grant Bocephus Draper - Founder and CEO of Hemp Paper Company

Benjamin Grant Bocephus Draper

Ben founded Hemp Paper Company to build the most sustainable paper on the planet. An experienced entrepreneur with a deep background in product supply chains, Ben recognized early that hemp fiber was a dramatically better solution than tree-based packaging — stronger, faster-growing, and carbon negative.

Working with partner mills across the globe, Ben transformed the idea of commercial hemp paper packaging into a real product line serving businesses across Hawaii and the mainland United States.
